Mandy's Pizza Comes to Ladera Ranch

If a 32-inch monster pizza made with five pounds of cheese and three pounds of sauce doesn’t get your taste buds tingling, perhaps a delectable menu of gluten and allergy free selections, including gluten free vodka and beer, will be reason enough to get you to Mandy’s Pizza in Ladera Ranch.

Having recently opened at the Mercantile East Shopping Center, the pizzeria has fun-filled activities planned for Ladera Ranch patrons, including cooking classes, coloring contests and movie nights.

The O.C. Register reports that owners, Matt Hrdlicka, Mike Sandler and Steve Negri- who founded Mandy’s Pizza over 30 years ago in Pittsburgh- believe their establishment is a match for the Ladera Ranch demographic.

Ladera Ranch Residents Encouraged to Attend Annual LARMAC Meeting Tonight

LARMAC (Ladera Ranch Maintenance Corporation) will be hosting their annual meeting tonight, from 7 to 9pm at the Avendale Village Clubhouse. All Ladera Ranch residents are welcome to attend the multi-media presentation, which as Board President Jeff Blugrind describes, aims to have, “homeowners come away from the meeting with a better understanding of what LARMAC does and does not do in Ladera Ranch."

In addition to providing the oversight and administration for the aesthetic review process in adherence to the Ladera Ranch community guidelines, LARMAC maintains the facilities and community property in Ladera Ranch.

Ladera Ranch's Fall Color Nature Hike Saturday, November 6th

One of the greatest perks of living in Ladera Ranch is the abundance of natural beauty that envelops the community.

Not only do Ladera Ranch residents enjoy gorgeous fall weather, they enjoy gorgeous fall foliage, and The Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo will be hosting a Fall Color Nature Hike that will allow residents to experience both.

The two-mile, two-hour hike begins at 9am on Saturday, November 6th. Participants will meet at the trail staging area behind Laurel Terrace Apartments (2000 Corporate Drive) and will go on to explore the Chiquita Ridge.

With expansive views of Ladera Ranch on one side and panoramas of native grasslands and rolling hills on the other, hikers will be able to take in an assortment of rich fall colors.

Ladera Ranch Fall Harvest Festival Saturday, November 6th

Ladera Ranch is putting a country spin on its annual autumn event with a western-themed Fall Harvest Festival.

On Saturday, November 6th you can giddy on up to Founder’s Park in Covenant Hills for an afternoon of fun, family-friendly activities and entertainment. The LARCS event, which lasts from 1 to 4pm, will feature live country music from the Misfit Cowboys, in addition to a cowboy rope twirling performance and gun fight show.

Enjoy hayrides and pony rides, face painting and carnival games, a petting zoo and an appearance by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department who will be accompanied by their bloodhounds and K9 units.

Admission is free, but be sure to bring cash for tickets, food and a beer garden for attendees ages 21 and older.
