Autumn is upon us, which means it’s time to swap swimsuits for sweaters, iced lattes for hot chocolates and afternoons at the beach for evenings in front of the fire.

Fortunately, our beautiful Southern California weather affords us the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors-- even in the fall-- and Covenant Hills’ residents can celebrate by frolicking with friends and family in one of many nearby Ladera Ranch parks.

Oso Grande Park
28135 Covenant Hills Dr.
Set up a fall feast in the picnic area, watch the kids play in either of two tot lot structures or start a ball game at the baseball field. Peanuts and Cracker Jacks not included.

Founders Park
28275 Avendale Blvd.
This park was practically designed for an all-out, all day extravaganza, with nine acres of soccer fields and baseball diamonds, two sand volleyball courts, two playgrounds, eight barbeque grills, a plethora of picnic tables and a gazebo.

Bluff Top Park
O'Neill and Winfield
Bask in the brisk autumn breeze and enjoy wonderful views from an open grassy area, then slap some burgers and hot dogs on any of five barbeque grills.

Mission Hills Park
Inside Covenant Hills, on Bell Pasture near Mission Ridge Rd
Practice your swing at the park’s putting green, lawn bowl or play a round of bocce ball in the open lawn area and relax at the viewpoint sitting areas.
