After hosting several holiday activities last week to get the season off to a spirited start, Covenant Hills continues to make your yuletide merry with a few Christmas-themed events set for the coming weekend.

So, take a break from trimming the tree, shopping for presents and preparing your Covenant Hills home for guests, and enjoy the abundance of holiday cheer– Ladera Ranch style.

Judging for Neighborhood Decorating Contest
Saturday, December 11
If your neighborhood entered the decorating contest last week, it’s time to put those vibrant light displays to the test this Saturday, when a judging committee will evaluate the best, brightest and most festive neighborhood of them all. Winners will receive gift cards to use towards their September 2011 Block Party.

Santa Visits
Saturday, December 11 from 10 to 2pm
Take the kiddies to see the Claus himself, who will be available at the Avendale Clubhouse Saturday afternoon for endless wish-list listening and free family photo-ops.

Live Nativity
Saturday, December 11 at 5pm
Watch a live presentation of the Christmas Nativity, co-sponsored by LARCS and the Christian Fellowship Club. Enjoy carols, live animals and refreshments.

Judging for Individual Decorating Contest
Monday, December 13
Participants in this year’s individual home decorating contest, who submitted their entry forms by December 6th, will have their outrageously adorned abodes assessed by fellow residents next Monday. Judges must fill out a judging form available on LaderaLife.
