Ladera Ranch Middle School Named One of O.C.’s Top 10

Ladera Ranch Middle School was once again named one of the top public middle schools in Orange County, according to an annual list compiled by the O.C. Register.

While maintaining its Gold Medal label from 2010, Ladera Ranch Middle School also managed to bump up its rank from ninth place last year to seventh place this year.

The register rank is determined by combining a school’s academic scores, which account for 75 percent of the total rank, with the school’s environment scores, which make up 25 percent of the total rank and encompass factors including student-teacher ratios, diversity, fitness test scores, school awards and number of truancy, expulsions and suspensions.

In addition, Ladera Ranch Middle School is a California Distinguished School.
