Read On: Visit Ladera Ranch LibraryPosted by Covenant Hills on Friday, October 15th, 2010 at 2:54pm
There’s nothing quite as satisfying as curling up with a good book on a rainy day—just add a hot drink, a cozy chair and you’ve got the makings of a perfect, peaceful afternoon. Residents of Covenant Hills can enjoy this delightful luxury, in addition to an abundance of amenities, at the Ladera Ranch Library.
The only Orange County branch to share a space with a public elementary and middle school, the Ladera Ranch Library provides resources and reading sections for both adults and children.
The upstairs library is designed to serve the community, offering public computers with free internet access, Wi-Fi, a quiet study room and a comfortable reading area close to the magazines. You can browse the library’s DVD collection, peruse the Business/Careers and Parenting sections, and carry out your research using their databases and extensive reference sources. Young adults (15+) are also afforded a refuge of their own in the Teen reading section.
Devised to meet the needs of elementary and middle school children, the lower library is a two-story space with a collection provided by the Capistrano Unified School District and the Orange County Public Library. During school hours, the area is restricted to students and staff, while afternoons, evenings and weekends are open to everyone.
The Ladera Ranch Library also offers interactive programs for children of all ages, including storytime sessions for infants and toddlers.
You can visit the Ladera Ranch Library website for more information.
